Sunshine at Kemah in the morning
Our current boat is a 1971, 34' Columbia MkII: 'Sunshine'. She is far from perfect, but a work in progress. Sunshine is about as large as I can comfortably singlehand, but a little too small for my wife, 5 kids and I to do any kind of serious sailing on. Although my list of 'to do' items increases weekly, I am guilty of spending more time sailing her then working on her...oh well.
This is Elizabeth and I in late October, 2015. It was a blustery morning on the bay, so we headed back early. We had time before we needed to get back, so tied up at Kemah and enjoyed a peaceful walk around the ( unusually quiet and empty) boardwalk area.
